“The Speech” has been made and what have we learned? I can only speak for myself and what I have learned is that Sen. Obama has corroborated all my fears regarding his character and his false affection for this country. Actions speak louder than words as the old adage says and Sen. Obama’s actions speak volumes.

White Americans have bent over backwards at every level of society to build a class-less society based on equality and civil rights. Never in my entire life was I ever taught to hate anyone- Black, White, Asian or Hispanic. Throughout my childhood and into adult life my faith experience as a Catholic has been one of tolerance and love towards ALL people. I don’t know anyone who attends a church that preaches these vile and hateful beliefs as is preached at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, IL. If this is mainstream Black Christianity then I must be living in a bubble because the words preached by Rev. Jeremiah Wright are frightening to say the least. Is Black America really this angry and hateful towards its white brothers and sisters? If so then we are in serious trouble as a nation and 40 years of Civil Rights have been a failure. If not, and I believe this is truly the case, then we must ask ourselves why are people like Rev. Jeremiah Wright preaching these types of sermons. I really think that there is a large segment of the Black Community who NEED to hear this to build up their own self-worth, which is sad. The “rich white people” and the “not-so-rich white people” have done their share of building a nation based on the values of the Rev. Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights movement of the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s up to the present.

When will African Americans begin to change their attitude?  When will African Americans begin to change their beliefs? When will African Americans begin to forgive?  When? When? When? Or are they simply going to continue to hate “whitey” and believe this ludicrous crap like “The US government started the AIDs virus to kill Black people”!! I am sick and tired of hearing this stuff!! This anti-American sentiment is now echoed by entire Democrat party and Hollywood too! Sen. Obama is of this sentiment and his “Hope and Change” campaign is nothing but a cover for what he really believes. Below is a little check list of “words” vs actions by Sen. Barack Obama:

Recent remarks by Sen. Obama on homosexual marriage, abortion and his “Christian” faith have become old news, but I would like to revive the issue because of its importance in our getting to know this man, who thus far is still unknown to a majority of Americans. A frightening thought really!! First, in Obama’s own words so I don’t get accused of misquoting the man:

Homosexual Mariage:

“I don’t think it [a same-sex union] should be called marriage, but I think that it is a legal right that they should have that is recognized by the state”. If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount, which I think is, in my mind, for my faith, more central than an obscure passage in Romans.”

Abortion:

“I think that the bottom line is that in the end, I think women, in consultation with their pastors, and their doctors, and their family, are in a better position to make these decisions than some bureaucrat in Washington. That’s my view. Again, I respect people who may disagree, but I certainly don’t think it makes me less Christian. Okay.”

His Christian Faith:

“I am a Christian. I am adevoutChristian. I’ve been a member of the same church for 20 years, pray to Jesus every night, and try to go to church as much as I can when they are not working me. Used to go quite often.”

I am, of course, approaching Sen. Obama from a Conservative Catholic perspective, but that being said, I find his opinions and his actions to be very troubling to say the least. First of all, to simply say that we should refer to the Sermon on the Mount and let the dictum, (I am assuming) “Do unto others” be our basis for instituting homosexual unions goes beyond logic. What of Jesus’ words on Adultery, and Divorce? Sen. Obama’s take on Christianity is one of convenience. Just like a lawyer to twist and turn the words of someone to your own advantage. And I would like to remind Sen.Obama that it was NOT “some bureaucrat in Washington” which brought us 50 million dead babies since Roe v. Wade, but the Supreme Court. As a lawyer I thought he would have known that by now.

As for Abortion his “laisez faire” style of Christianity rears its ugly head again. In other words Jesus has told us to be absolutely tolerant of everything and everyone regardless of the consequences, even if it means killing an infant that has survived an abortion. It’s kill and kill again as far as Sen. Obama is concerned. When Sen. Obama was State Senator in Illinois he voted three times against the “Born Alive Infant Protection Act” and refused to support Anti-Partial-Birth Abortion bills. But to deny aid to a baby that has survived a labor-induced abortion goes beyond the realm of common sense. Is this the “do unto others” type of compassion I should expect in my old age if his kind of logic deems me undeserving of life? Mychal Massie, noted African-American Conservative wrote the following:

Obama’s support for murdering children transcends his support for the extermination of unborn babies. While holding elected office in Illinois, he opposed S.B. 1093 the "Born Alive Infant Protection Act" on the grounds that the measure didn't include a "life and health of the mother" provision. He then refused to support two subsequent bans that did include exceptions for the safety of the mother. He refused to support anti-partial-birth abortion bills H.B. 383 and S.B. 230.

He refused to support S.B. 1095, which created a cause of action for harm or neglect that would come to a child "born alive" after a labor-induced abortion, supporting instead the barbaric practice of letting "aborted alive" babies die a grotesquely inhuman and excruciatingly torturous death by being tossed into a pan and left to die. While in the Illinois Legislature, he voted against S.B. 1661, also part of the "Abortion Alive Protection Act," which created the "Induced Birth Infant Liability Act."

Sen.Obama is one frightening individual in this writer’s eyes and if he becomes President with a Socialist Democrat-controlled Congress America will become a horror-show, something akin to Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia. Actually Soviet Russia is probably what Sen. Obama is hoping for.

As you would all might guess, I was quite upset at the withdrawl of Mitt Romney from the GOP presidential campaign. Once again he has proven that he was and is the right man for the job. As his life has always shown, he has put the needs of others before himself. From his rejecting a salary for his job as Governor of Massachusetts to stepping aside for the good of the country.

So, what now? I have heard and read the opinions of Ann Coulter and her thoughts of supporting Hillary Clinton. I am not convinced that supporting Hillary can ever be a good thing- though I hope she wins the nomination of the Socialist-Democrats because I think she can be beat in November. It will be ugly but we could win.  If ever the words "lesser of two evils" could be more apropo than now. I will hold my nose and vote for Sen. McCain but will find it very hard to convince anyone why. And that is exactly what's wrong with the GOP and politics in general. Why are we always faced with "cow poop" or "horsepoop"? As local Radio personality-Jay Severin so aptly stated in regards to the perspective candidates.

There is a school of thought out there which thinks that with the likelihood of a "liberal" president and the obvious disaster to ensue, the responsibility of said disaster should be left solely on the shoulders of the Socialist-Democrats. I would agree with this Machiavellan, being Italian and all, but the next president will be choosing at least two more Supreme Court Justices in the next four years and I can't have Hillary or Hussein choosing lifetime appointees to the highest court in the land. I figure we at least have a chance and a hope that Sen. McCain will choose strict Constitutionalist judges. He has promised this and though I have my doubts I have no choice but to give him the benefit of the doubt.

This year's nomination process for the GOP has left many of us Conservatives scratching our heads and I for one have serious doubts whether the GOP is a good home for me. Maybe it's time to look elsewhere as a Conservative and that elsewhere can only mean starting over again and building a new Conservative movement. A Conservative Party with conservative members. A party where the nominee can honestly promote the conservative agenda. The GOP has failed in this regard and failed miserably by the actions of its elected officials in the Congress to sellouts like the Governors of Florida and California. Laura Ingraham has talked about a resurgence and a liberation of Conservatives in the aftermath of the recent Republican Primary fiasco. She speaks with the spirit of Ronald Reagan- hopefully!! Maybe she is right and this can be a wake-up call to Conservatives across the country to begin to either take back the party or start again.

I will hold my nose and vote for Sen. McCain but for the life of me, I don't know how to campaign for him!!!

I have been a registered Republican for 95% of the last 28 years, ever since I heard Ronald Reagan campaign for the presidency in 1979. The words of Ronald Reagan hit that nerve inside me which inspired a great love for America and what it stood for in the world. It was the "Conservative" message which I so falsely thought was a constricting ideology in college. An ideology which stifled liberty and preserved the status quo- until I started working in the real world and President Reagan and the new Republicans came on the scene. The GOP revitalized Conservatism in a way which would renew this country and end the greatest threat to world peace the world had seen since Nazism- the Soviet Union. The economy was rejuvenated and the Republicans actually had a majority in the Congress for the first time in about 45 years. The Republican Congress which oversaw continued economic growth, reform of the welfare system and the Conservative agenda at its height.

What happened? How could the party of Ronald Reagan begin spending, spending, spending? How could the party of Ronald Reagan incur scandal after scandal and let the Democrats return to power. The Republicans of the sort of Trent Lott and Dick Armey were weak, and easily intimidated. You would have thought that the Republicans had lost the presidency in 2000 and 2004. The Dems have walked all over the Republicans since the day they lost their majority. The Republican leadership is a joke and when traitorous congressmen like Dick Durbin, Jerry Reid and John Murtha spew their anti-American filth- Where was the Republican response? A few admonitions- NOTHING!!! This should have been a red flag to all of us- The Republican Party is Deathly Ill and probably dead already.

I don't have to prove to you anymore why Sen.McCain doesn't deserve our Conservative support- his actions in Congress speak for themselves and quite frankly I am tired of repeating them over and over again. I am finding it very hard to cast my vote for Sen. McCain and most likely not vote at all and write in Mitt Romney. Whether you like it or not Mitt Romney is the only Conservative running for President with a chance to win. Gov. Huckabee cannot win and that is the reality of it pure and simple.

Who and why are Republicans voting for Sen.McCain when he does not uphold the principles of the GOP? This election is being manipulated by the media and the gullibility of the American public is revealiing itself in a most frightening way. Not one Republican voting for Sen.McCain can give a plausable reason why!!! General Grant was a great war hero, but also one of our most corrupt presidents. Abraham Lincoln was a great war President and he never served in the military or if he did without distinction that I know of. So please don't throw Sen.McCain's war record at me.

The Republican Party through its elected officials in Congress have abandoned the Reagan Conservatism which got them elected. These traitors to their office and to the people they represent have become part of the sick, corrupt institution which we call "Washington". They have been bought and paid for by special interests and become indistinguishable from their Democrat counterparts. Where is my Party?

Why is a man who is averaging no more than 36% of the vote winning the nomination of the GOP? Ask yourslves that question. The dirty politics which occurred in West Virginia is the tip of a deadly iceberg. I expect to see more and more of this all in the hopes of circumventing the will of true Republican voters. Gov. Romney has collected more votes from Republicans than Sen.McCain so why is McCain winning? There is a corruption of the election process taking place and it is ignoring the will of the people. How can a candidate who does not have the support from the base of the party be its representative??? 

If Sen.McCain heads into the convention as the front-runner or de-facto nominee then I am asking for a revolt and a secession from the party of its Conservate members and nominate Gov. Romney as the Conservative Candidate.

Today is Super Tuesday and I hope everyone has gone out and voted for Mitt Romney!!!

Use your heads people!!! I believe my blogs have given ample reason for many of you to at least consider Gov. Romney. Sen. McCain has resorted to lies, lies and more lies. Ironically he is misinforming through his "Straight Talk Express" which should be called "The Double Talk Express".

With Super Tuesday coming tomorrow it seem more like the Sword of Damocles rather than a primary. And in effect it is a day of reckoning for the Grand Old Party- the Republicans. If Sen. McCain somehow wins the needed majority then the GOP - the Conservative Party - will cease to exist.

Make no mistake Gov. Romney is the only choice for Conservatives left in the race. And also he is the MOST QUALIIFIED to become our next President. His detractors with the help of the media has labeled him a flip-flopper while failing to take into account his entire life's work. We live in the day of the sound-byte and words and phrases are altered, taken out of context, misconstrued and misunderstood. We listen to the "straight talking" lying Senator from Arizona who simply repeats and repeats with the notion that if repeated often enough it will become the truth. Mark Levin- has come forward in support of Gov. Romney and has rightly urged his fellow Radio hosts and Conservative pundits to officially endorse Romney. This should have been done immediately after New Hampshire and now maybe too late.

The Republican Party will cease to exist if it nominates Sen. McCain and I cannot say this enough. The only political rival to the Socialist-Democrat Party will be made impotent and with over 16 Republican Legislators opting to not run for re-election we are looking at the Socialist Coup d'etat of the US Government.

Does this sound extreme? Think about it- a Democrat-controlled Congress, and the almost certain election of Billary or Hussein!! McCain will lose to the Socialist-Democrat nominee no matter who it is.
We will become the new USSR- United States Socialist Republic!!!

I am absolutely perplexed and appalled at the political prostitution going on amongst Republican leadership in this country. I thought that being a member of the GOP meant something, and that something being CONSERVATIVISM! The Republican Party was reborn under President Reagan simply for the fact that it picked up and donned the Conservative Mantle: Small Govt, Less Taxes, Strong Military, Strict Interpeters of the Constitution, Pro-Life and Pro-Family. What happened????? Washington is what happened!! We elected people to Congress and they became politicians- greedy, self-seeking jerks who only seek to being re-elected. Real Republicans were voted out of office and a spineless opportunists have taken their place.

Sen. John McCain is the poster child of  these sellouts: Rudy Giuliani, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gov. Crist.  Where are the real Republicans? Sean Hannity finally made his choice- the only choice left- MItt Romney as I have said all along. Now I am asking real Conservatives like Newt Gingrich to take a stand and cast their support to Mitt Romney.

All Conservative Republicans must step forward now and stop this piece of crap "Straight Talk Express"!!! Do not compromise your principles simply to satisfy the corrupt media in this country which is trying its hardest to anoint Sen. McCain as OUR candidate. The Republican leadership in this country is selling us out and we will need a grassroots movement similar to the one that defeated the "Immigration Bill" sponsored by this lying Senator from Arizona.

Gov. Romney absolutely crushed Sen. McCain in the California debate and again last night on Hannity and Colmes- he made an excellent case for himself deflecting and clarifying many of the lies told by Sen. McCain. He once again showed that he is the ONLY CHOICE for President at this most crucial point in our nation's history.

Contact your friends, relatives, and coworkers and urge them to vote for Mitt Romney on Feb. 5, 2008.
Anyone who knows Mitt Romney and studied his life will see a man of service to his fellow man and to his country. That is who he is!!

In defeat last night in Florida, MItt Romney gave one of the most inspiring speeches I have heard in a long time. He spoke of the situation in Washington and pointed out the real problem:

Washington is FUNDAMENTALLY BROKEN!!

The American people have asked Washington to:
    Fix the Border Problem - NO
    Fix the problem of Illegals in this country- NO
    Fix the Tax code- NO
    Fix Social Security- NO
    Balance the Budget- NO

I could go on and on and you get the picture. Mitt webt on to say that fixing Washington CANNOT come about by sending the same people back "Only to sit in different chairs". Washington can only change by changing the people that are sent to Washington.

Mitt Romney has a background uincomparable to the other candidates. He is a counselor, a businessman and a proven leader. He knows that only Businesses create jobs and bring prosperity to the country and its citizens. And, so what does Mitt Romney do? As Vice President of Bain & Company- a consulting group- helped to create new businesses by lending money and guiding them into success. Businesses like Staples, Sealy, Sports Authority, Bright Horizons, and Brookstone to name a but a few. The number of businesse is in the hundreds.
He took over the mess that was the 2001 Salt Lake City Olympics and erased $379 million debt and created a profit- one of the most profitable Olympics in American history- especially at such a crucial time-  shortly after September 11, 2001. As a Mormon Church member he was comparable to a bishop or pastor and actually listened and counseled people from all walks of life and prayed with them. This is unheard of today to see a man of such quality!! He is truly a Man for all seaons and deserves our consideration in this most critical election in the history of this country.

I am a Conservative Republican and Catholic from Massachusetts and I believe he was a breath of fresh in air in our state. Receiving support from all facets of society- The Catholic Church, Inner-city groups and churches, businessmen and the votes felecting him to two terms as governor. He raised state revenue WITHOUT raising taxes and left the treasury with a surplus. He fought for the rights of the citizens to decide the issue of Marriage, he supported pro-life causes and worked to get parental notification for teenage girls seeking abortions. Supported the Catholic Church in opposing Homsexual Adoptions of children. He refused to give protection or security to the visiting "terrorist" former PM of Iran when he was invited to speak at a local university (I forget which- either Harvard or BU).

Mitt Romney is the MAN we need to send to WASHINGTON. He is the true outsider who can bring real change and not just talk about it.

McCain is a democrat in a Republican suit!!! He is not a conservative and he is part of the problem.

If you're endorsed by the NY Times then you're definitely not a Conservative, so by simple deductive reasoning it must be that McCain is more Liberal than Mitt Romney. The NY Times endoresement is also supported by that bastions of Liberalism- The Boston Globe which in Massachusetts has been nicknamed "The Communist Globe" and "The Boston Globe Democrat" to name just a few. Even former Republican governors  of Massachusetts, Weld and Cellucci, have decided to go elsewhere with their support- opting for Giuliani.

Also, the Media has also unofficially endorsed Sen.McCain showing him in the most amenable light- "most bi-partisan" or "most likely to reach across the aisle" and my favorite "the only one who can build a coalition with Democrats, because the Dems trust Sen. McCain".

Does this sound like the candidate the GOP wants to represent the party in November?
To quote Jay Severin, a local radio talk-show host, (a conservative) has stated tha:
"If John McCain is the nominee of the Republican Party in November then the Republican Party no longer exists." 

I think he is absolutely dead on RIGHT!!

Vote the only logical choice- MITT ROMNEY!!!

The McCain campaign got a huge endorsement this week- The New York Times!! Why are newspapers across the country making endorsements on both sides of this Presidential Campaign?? Think about this for a moment and then ask yourself this question: If Sen. McCain ran as a Democrat- would the NY Times still endorse him??

Does anyone with an ounce of Conservatism cringe at this news? You bet they do and well they should!! The Boston Globe- darling daughter of the NY Times (actually owns the Globe) endorsed McCain two weeks before the NH Primary. The Leftwing media in this country has taken on a new strategy and are playing covering their pink asses in this election. They obviously want the Democrat candidate to win but will settle for the next best thing- A Democrat wearing a Republican uniform.  Every newscast of the Big Three newtworks (ABC, CBS, NBC) and of course CNN and PBS newscats as well are plugging the Hero-POW Liberal Senator from Arizona. Describing his bi-partisanship as a huge POSITIVE in his electability. While the media force-feeds his electabilty to the American voters he is calling himself the "only real fiscal conservative" in the Republican field of  candidates. And, if that's not enough he said that he "Gets it about the Immigration issue". Well, gee whiz Sen. McCain, that's really nice of you to finally "get it", I'll certainly vote for you now!!! Are you kidding me?!!!

Sen. McCain is part of the problem- a major part of the problem in Washington. He's an insider who became a career politician along the lines of Fat Teddy Kennedy to name just one. No real job- just a politician for life.

Look, I praise and admire what Sen. McCain did in Vietnam, but as well that should be considered it is only one facet of who John McCain is. Gen. Benedict Arnold was also a hero with great service to the cause of liberty but we know how he turned out. Of course I am not saying Sen. McCain is a traitor, but I will say he is a traitor to the GOP and to the conservative cause. Actions speak louder than words and his actions say:

Insider, Compromiser, More Taxes, Close Gitmo, No waterboarding, cave in to liberal ideology and put this nation at risk, more power to UN and less sovereignty to the US, deny free speech- McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, Gang of 14 etc. ...

Right now at this moment in our history, this country despirately needs a true Reagan Conservative and not a military hero.

• - We need someone who has lived and worked in the real world of business.
• - We need someone who has real world executive experience
• - We need someone who is willing to put America first
• - We need someone who is Pro-Life and Pro-Family

With Fred Thompson exiting the race, it looks like most true Reagan Conservatives will be joining the Romney camp. HE is the only true Reaganite in the group. He doesn't have the baggage of a Giuliani candidacy and he is dead on the issues that matter: Life, War, limited government and theEconomy.

He kicked "Donkey" butt last night on Hannity and Colmes!!! Alan Colmes tried to "catch" Mitt on a supposed hypocritical stance on Bi-lingualism and Mitt set him straight on the actual meaning of certain English words when put together in a sentence to convey a particular thought. Alan Colmes saw Mitt's words: "Every child should be taught in English only." as contradictory of Mitt's political add in Spanish. Mitt answered (to paraphrase) very clearly with; "Well Alan, in English words have a certain meaning. I stated that all Children should be taught in English. Of course there are Spanish citizens who came here at a later age and don't speak English and my ad in Spanish is of course directed toward getting support of potential Spanish voters."  Do Democrats or Liberals even listen,read or use logic? It is spin, spin, and more spin!!
People like Mr. Colmes believe that the American people are gullible and stupid and incapable of reasoning and thinking things through fully. Mr. Colmes figured that if you saw and heard Mitt say "English only" then hear him speak in Spanish you would conclude as a Dem/Liberal would that Mitt is contradicting himself.

Also, Mitt defended the President and the economy and placing equal blame on an incompetent Democrat Congress. Well DONE!!!

Mitt Romney is fighting the GOOD FIGHT and revealing the Democrats for what they truly are: Unpatriotic!! Pork and Agenda-driven Socialists!!!! (See my blog- The Party is Coming! The Party is Coming!)
