Why Catholics Can’t Vote for Sen. Obama

I wish to speak today on the incompatibility of Catholics and voting for Sen. Obama or any candidate supporting the Democrat Party platform.
In the Saddleback Forum a week ago Sen. Obama referenced the Gospel of St. Matthew: “I think America’s greatest moral failure in my lifetime has been that we still don’t abide by that basic precept in Matthew that whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me.” I don’t know about you but when I think of the “least of my brethren” my mind quickly envisions a child, a baby, an infant. These are the most innocent and helpless of our society, but when Sen. Obama had the chance to protect an infant that survived an abortion he voted against a bill which would have protected that child. I really don’t need to elaborate or try to explain any further, I think you see my point. Whatever Sen. Obama says, and he does it a lot, he needs three or four more attempts to explain himself. Rev. Wright and Racism, Refusing to Wear an American Flag lapel pin, the mix-up on why he couldn’t meet with wounded American soldiers in a US Army hospital in Germany. WE always seem to be misunderstanding or misinterpreting him. The list goes on and on. When asked about “When does life begin?” Sen. Obama answered: “Hmm, Hum, Ugh! Ugh! Humm! Well, that question can be answered one of two ways, theologically or scientifically and it’s well above my pay grade.” Well, Sen. Obama did neither. He couldn't answer the question or wouldn't answer is more like it. Sen. McCain, on the other hand, answered straightforwardly- “Life begins at conception.” At 47 years old, Sen. Obama still doesn’t know how to answer that simple but important question. You would think that someone who has risen to the level he has, would have at some point in his life, pondered such a profound question, especially after witnessing the birth of two daughters. Let’s face it, he knows exactly when life begins, so does Sen. Kennedy, Sen. Kerry, Sen. Clinton and every other person with a human conscience. The fact is they are willing to forego their consciences for the sake of political power, for the sake of VOTES. St. Thomas More once said that “When a statesman foregoes his conscience, he leads his country down the quick road to chaos.” The United States has been going DOWN this road for the last 40 years.

The views of Sen. Obama and the platform of the Democrat Party on social issues such as Abortion, and Homosexual Marriage basically disqualify them from receiving a Catholic vote. These two issues alone bear a moral gravity which supersedes all other social issues such as poverty, capital punishment, and immigration. I will even go so far as to say that the issue of Abortion alone is the litmus test for a Catholic and even a Christian voter. To rationalize the killing of an innocent life in the womb is intrinsically evil. It denies the overall authority of God, who alone is the ruler of life and death. When we as a society begin to judge who is worthy of life then we have condemned ourselves. The “least” in this case is clearly the baby in the womb! When we die, we will be judged on how we answered the cause of defending the life of the most innocent at their most vulnerable stage.

Abortion is the “Slavery” issue of our time. The country is divided right down the middle politically. It is the issue which will, one way or another, take control of the conscience of this nation. Slavery was an abomination and had to be rooted out of the heart of this country, simply because it contradicted the most basic principle of a person’s Human Dignity. Abortion reduces the status of an infant in the womb to a “non-person” just as the Negro Slaves were considered non-persons, unworthy of US citizenship.

The American Bishops are mandated by Church law not to publicly endorse a political candidate, but they are obliged to aid in the formation of a Catholic Conscience among their faithful. They are sorely lacking in this regard. The US Catholic Bishops have shown themselves to have the spine of a jelly fish and bordering on cowardice. I, on the other hand have no hindrances in promoting my views. My dear fellow Catholics and Christians, in good conscience you cannot vote for the Democrat Candidate in this Presidential Election. Sen. McCain is the only Choice, we as Catholics and Christians have on November 4, 2008.

Obama and the Catholic Vote

I was reading an interesting article concerning Obama and his "Catholic problem." It seems that many Catholics don't support Sen. Obama and this a major concern to the Obama campaign. As well it should be, because his views on abortion and traditional marriage are radical and contrary to the Catholic Faith. The article also mentioned that the Democrat Convention might try to allay Catholic fears by allowing a pro-life Democrat speak at the convention. Ohhhh! Isn't that nice of them? The fact that they want to throw this bone to Catholics is insulting. So, now I am supposed to change my mind simply because they allowed a pro-life speaker onto the dais at the convention. What does that supposed to mean?
"Well Pro-Life supporter and practicing Catholics I am still in favor of abortion and will support abortion rights up to nine months, including partial-birth abortion and even support the idea that babies that survive an abortion be denied medical life-saving care, but I did let someone speak against abortion at the Democrat Convention. So please vote for me!!"
 
Are they serious? The Leftwing, Liberal media really considers this a major concession on behalf of the Obama campaign. I'm afraid to think what other concessions Obama is willing to make. He is changing his views on almost everything these days. He is more of a weathervane than the Clintons ever were.
 
Catholics in good conscience cannot vote for Sen. Obama simply because at his core, he is NOT a MORAL man. He is a racist, a supporter of terrorism, a liar and a traitor. His attendance for 20+ years and support ($30, 000) in donations to Trinity Church of Christ is testimony to his racism. The Trinity Church of Christ espouses Black Liberation Theology which is a white-hating form of Marxism. You can google this for yourself or read my previous blog where I state verbatim the major tenet of Black Liberation Theology. His friendship and support of William Ayers (a self proclaimed terrorist bomber with SDS and Weather Underground of the 60s & 70s). Mr Ayers also supported the 9/11 Terrorist acts as "necessary and we need more." Sen. Obama is a liar when he says he loves this country. He and his wife have a chip on their shoulder the size of Texas towards this country and they refuse to acknowledge it. He is constantly flip-flopping over issues in order to garner votes. And finally he is a traitor as is the Democrat Party- He never supported the troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan and was instrumental in holding the troops funding hostage for political reasons. He would rather see American soldiers die than give them the support they needed. Sen. Obama also visited with the heads of state of both Iraq and Afghanistan promoting a foreign policy contrary to the one adopted by the American government. This is treason and undermines the American government in prosecuting the war.
 
According to the Catholic Church there is a certain level of importance given to moral issues and the issues of the utmost importance are the "LIFE" issues. The deliberate taking of an innicent life is ALWAYS wrong. So the Right to Life takes precedence and is more important than all other issues. Vote Life over environment, over poverty, over taxes. The Right to Life if not upheld effects all other issues. How could a country who will not defend the most helpless and innocent of victims (baby in the womb) be expected to defend anyone else. Now we see why, Terri  Schiavo could be starved to death LEGALLY, and why human embryos can be created only to be destroyed for the use of someone else, and why divorce, poverty, homlessness and broken families is on the rise. The people of this age in America have lost sight of the truth as far as humanity is concerned. Human life has become a commodity to be used and thrown away like anything else. These LIFE Issues are non-negotiable as far as the Catholic Church is concerned and for any Catholic who seriously practices his/her faith.
 
There is some hope- Sen. John McCain has a 100% Pro-life record (maybe waffled on embryonic stem cells). He also adopted an Indian Child at the request of Mother Theresa- a story most people don't know and speaks volumes of the kind of man Sen. McCain is. Believe me I wanted to find something which would cause me to throw my support to Sen.McCain and this may be it. As a Catholic in good conscience- there is only one choice this November- Sen.McCain.

Sen.Obama supports Racism and Affirmative Action 100%
Sen.Obama supports dependence on foreign oil100%
Sen.Obama supports giving up US sovereignty to the UN and other world groups100%
Sen.Obama supports the civil rights for Al-Qaeda Terrorists in Guantanamo 100%
Sen.Obama supports the denial of free speech on the radio and in churches and synagogues100%

Obama: The Anti-American Candidate

If there was ever an opportunity for Obama to prove his love for his country it would have been at the US military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany. By canceling his visit with the wounded soldiers at the Landstuhl hospital he proved something els. He proved that he does not love America! He does not love and honor its servicemen and women injured in battle fighting and dying for the freedoms he enjoys. As soon as he learned that the visit could not be used as a campaign opportunity he canceled his visit. No matter how his campaign spins the story, blaming the pentagon and the military personnel he still could have visited as a private citizen. Presidential candidate Obama decided instead to do an exercise workout at his Ritz-Carlton hotel. This is the height of arrogance and disdain. He clearly represents that part of his party that simply disdains the military and this country.
 
The Obama speach in Berlin was a very telling episode. Did you notice- No American Flags? This was done at the request of the Obama campaign. Also, his speech did nothing but speak of the failures of the United States and how the USA is the problem. I didn't know that my idling car was so powerful so as to cause drought in Kenya!!! Americans and America are the problem!! Don't you see?
 
The gall and nerve to campaign abroad and garner the support of people who care nothing for the welfare of the United States. How many Germans do you think love the US? Obama must be stopped!! He is the most dangerous threat to our freedom and security since the Civil War and WWII!!!
 
I am dedicating every blog from now until Election Day to stopping this piece of fecal matter!! Sen. McCain gets my defacto vote with a strident enthusiasm. Sen. McCain was never my choice but he is clearly the only choice NOW and I have no reservations voting for him especially after what I watched unfold this past week in Europe.  Spread the word- VOTE McCAIN!!!

Hey! Vote for Obama!! 76% of Germans Would!!!

Yes, my fellow patriots, the National Election for the President of the United States has been cancelled!! Barack Hussein Obama has assumed Presidential powers unto himself and is now campaigning for President of the World! Sen. Obama believes the establishment media reporting about himself and is now acting like the "de facto" President of the United States!!! This guy needs a real KICK IN THE BUTT!!!! And I hope the American people see through this farce of a candidate and TRAITOR!!!
 
Who gave Sen. Obama the power to go to Iraq and Afghanistan and presume to lecture the governments and US Military personnel on how to handle the war and peace??? Placing our own soldiers-men and women- in harms way by using them as pawns in his grand scheme of "surrender"!! He constantly speaks of "ending" the war rather than "winning" the war as Sen. McCain has done from the beginning. When a person goes into separate negotiations presenting a policy not approved by the duly elected government of the United States, these actions become treasonous. This is exactly what Obama has done and he has promised to speak with the enemies of the United States and without authority presenting a policy contrary to the wishes of the American people and their elected government.
 
Now Obama is in Germany and campaigning as if their voice or vote matter!! This man is beyond arrogant, he is simply dishonest and a traitor. He walks the earth promising to "end the threat of nuclear weapons" and "peace by tearing down the walls between rich and poor" and peace through tolerance- even the tolerance of MURDERERS like Hamas and Hezbollah and the Holocaust-denying-US-hating IRAN!!
Obama behaves like he is Jesus walking on water and the establishment media bless him everyday. The NY Times went so far as to refuse to print Sen. McCain's rebuttal to Obama's op-ed piece this week. This is unheard of and blatantly biased journalism. Imagine refusing the op-ed piece of only one contender in the race for President because "Sen.McCain's editorial was not in the same spirit as Sen. Obama in his view of the war." Are you kidding me????? 
 
Where are you Sen. McCain? Pick Mit Romney and put some spark in your campaign. I hear nothing from you campaign about the NY Times. I hear nothing to counter Obama's global presidential campaign? Where the heck is this guy??
 
WAKE UP AMERICA because as Michael Savage has so prophetically put it "Very soon we will wake up in the Soviet Union."

Where is John McCain? Where is the VP Romney?

It's been hard but I have resigned myself to the fact that the Republican candidate for president is going to be Sen. John McCain. That is hard enough to swallow but I would at least like to see some of this guy CAMPAIGNING!!!! The Obama campaign is backpeddling on a whole slew of issues from abortion to the war and we hear blips and blurps of NOTHING! I know the network media is only going to show favorable snippets of Obama and much, much less of  Sen. McCain but that is no excuse. I think that he should begin to take control of the issues being discussed. Obama has no clue on the war, on terrorism, on the economy, or even the energy crisis. I have heard such great ideas on Fox News via Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly and even they are perplexed. If Sen.McCain is only going to campaign solely on his military record, then we are looking at President Obama in November. Sen. McCain needs to select Mitt Romney as VP and have him start attacking Obama and speaking about the issues with some real substantive answers. Mitt Romney has a war chest to play with and he can debate, something Sen McCain and Obama can't do. Sen. McCain is wasting a great opporunity here to force Obama into revealing his real agenda and proposing the GOP platform with a real ENERGY PLAN. McCain should take a page from the Kennedy "Moon Challenge" and apply it to US Energy Independence. This would resonate with voters who need something to be hopeful about. The Dems and Obama only want to TAX us to death and have us become just another seat in the UN. The Democrats and Obama hate this country and all it stands for. They see the US as the problem and not the solution. If Sen. McCain can make people believe that the US is the HOPE of the world and that YES we can become energy independent in 10 years time then he will win. The Dems and Obama only campaign on fear and anti-Bush and anti-American sentiment. In fact they rely on it.

Obama's Patriotism: I Don't Question It- I Doubt It

Sen. Obama the other day challenged Sen McCain "not to question his patriotism". Well, I don't question it at all because I doubt it exists in the first place.A simple list of facts and the argument is over:
  1. Would not say the Pledge of Allegiance
  2. Would not wear an American Flag lapel pin
  3. Michelle Obama states "She has never been proud of this country in her whole adult life until now." I know this isn't Barack, but he never repudiated her statement
  4. Is a member of a church for over 20 years that preaches anti-American sentiment- We've all heard it: "God damn America, not God Bless America" or "US of KKKA" or the "US govt invented AIDS to kill young black men." and the list goes on and on.
  5. Very good friends with William Ayers a former member of the "Weather Underground" terrorist organization which bombed and killed many Americans in the 1960s. Mr Ayers, still to this day, contends that they should have bombed more and that the 9/11 tragedy was a good thing. He is very good friends and has had dinner at his house and actually began his presidential campaign from William Ayers' house.
  6. Speaking of terrorist groups, Hamas endorses Obama for President
  7. Obama is willing to speak with President Ahmedenijad of Iran but will not speak with Military Veterans from his own state when they attempted to meet with him
  8. Willing to give up our national defense and sovreignty to the UN
  9. Supports constitutional rights for terrorists and POWs in Guantanamo
  10. Supports open borders and total amnesty for illegal immigrants
There is a deep resentment for this country abiding in Obama and his wife . They are racists, and haters of this country and all it stands for. Obama is of the mind that Black Americans have been and still are VICTIMS in this country and owe no love or allegiance to her. Not to mention his total lack of inexperience and backbone on any issue. He has three different opinions on everything. He promises "Change" and I believe him- He will change:  
  • The United States into Mexico,
  • Land of Liberty into the Land of Political Correctness and the thought police,
  • Land of Safety and Security into the Land of Terrorism in our streets
  • Land of Plenty to the Land of Poverty (52% income tax proposal)
  • Land of Opporunity into the Land of Affirmative Action
  • Land of a Judeo-Christian Heritage into the Land of Homosexual Marriage and Atheism
  • Land of Life into the Land of Abortion up to nine months even when the baby survives and not to mention 100% support for Partial Birth Abortion
  • Land of the Strongest Nation on Earth into the Land of Slave to World Opinion and anti-American Interests
"Change We Can Believe in" is "Change You Can Count On" if Obama becomes President of the United States.

Who Rules Here- The People or The Judges???

The Supreme Court in recent weeks has really proved the need for strict Constitutionalist judges and the importance of getting them on the bench as soon as possible. Though I don't know how that will happen with a lameduck president and the possibility of a McCain or Obama presidency. I will expound on two cases, both of which have dire consequences for the future of our nation.
 
First, the Supreme Court gave Constitutional Rights to enemy combatants imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. Basically giving POWs the rights that you and I enjoy. Am I the only person who thinks this is crazy. We have already released hundreds of these prisoners and over 40% of them have come back to us as terrorists and suicide bombers killing American soldiers and Iraqi and Afghani civilians. Now we see, that maybe all of them will be released or be given due process under our judicial system costing us, the taxpayer, thousands and millions of dollars and worst of course the deaths of many, many more Americans and innocent civilians and possibly American civilians on our own soil. The fact that this matter even went to the Supreme Court is a disgrace. The Democrats and groups like the ACLU, who have no love for this country have been opposed to this war and have hampered and obstructed the war effort at every turn. Where is the common sense in this decision? Why would you willfully put our citizens in physical danger if not driven by an agenda which is anti-American? Common sense does not exist in our current judicial system and we are dealing with judges who are interpreting the law instead of enforcing the law. The law cannot bend and stretch at the whim of a judge with a biased view. The fact that the law is unmalleable is exactly why the law is unbiased. We have in America, activist judges who judge purely by an agenda which is Leftist and anti-American.
 
Secondly, the Supreme Court has struck down a Louisiana Supreme Court ruling which upheld a law voted by the people of Louisiana to impose the Death Penalty to Child Rapists. The Supreme Court had previously ruled that the Death Penalty was constitutional and not considered "cruel and unusal punishment." I am not a legal expert and not a Constitutional expert but I am perplexed as to how the Supreme Court could strike down this law. The Death Penalty is a LEGAL form of punishment as attested to by the Supreme Court. The people of the State of Louisiana have deemed it fitting for child rapists to be judged fitting for this punishment. How can the Supreme Court say no? The Supreme Court is making a judgement which is unconstitutional when it says that the State of Louisiana cannot make such a law. Why? Because the the Supreme Court believes that Child Rapists are not worthy of the maximum penalty of death. The Supreme Court knows better than the people of Louisiana. The people of Louisiana are not capable of making such an "informed" decision. This is the height of arrogance and of judges overstepping their boundaries. If the people of Louisiana made a law which said that only the raping of white children was punishable by death (Thank you Jay Severin-WTKK for this insightful example) then the Supreme Court could step in and rule on the constitutionality of this law. But as it stands- Louisiana can and has the RIGHT to impose whatever punishment they deem fit. The Death Penalty is not unconstitional as stated by the Supreme Court and that is the matter at stake here. The fact that the State of Louisiana wants to impose this punishment on child rapists is entirely legal and within their right to do so. The State of Massachusetts has the most lenient of laws regarding this crime=10 -20 year and most of them released after 3 years or actually suspended sentences are more the rule in "ASSACHUSETTS." That is the real crime!!! The Supreme Court should be striking down the laws and rulings of Massachusetts Child Rape. Just as the Supreme Court does not interfere with the LENIENCY of Massachusetts Criminal laws then the Supreme Court cannot interfere in the SEVERITY of Louisiana's Criminal laws. The fact that the majority of members on the Supreme Court believes that this law is too severe should not have any bearing on the legality of this law. That is why the law cannot be a "living and breathing" document as most Democrats and Liberals want you to believe. The law is not fluid but but stationary and standing firm for all time and not to be shaped to the whims of any ideology, right or left, liberal or conservative. The law must remain the same always for everyone.

Election 2008: Are You Kidding Me? We Need a Revolution!

Well, it's been a long time since I've posted, since Sen. McCain was annointed the GOP nominee to be precise. I've been busy trying to get my MA in History and Culture and I've got to tell you all- we are in a lot of trouble. A lot has happened in the election on both sides of the political landscape. Actually, let me rephrase that because there are no more "sides" to speak of. We have a choice between three
EVILS:
            Hillary Clinton- just plain evil and Communist: I warned early on that Obama might not live to see his nomination take place
            Barack Hussein Obama- closet Racist and Communist: He and his wife really do hate this country
            John McCain- Closet Democrat and Liberal: Supposedly our only choice as Republicans
 
I am afraid that our political system no longer works my friends. The Primary process has revealed its so many flaws. We had unprecedented numbers voting in all primaries but what has caused the current crop of Presdential Candidates? The answer is manipulation via the media and political strategems which sought to manipulate opposing campaigns. Rush Limbaugh has been urging Republicans and Conservatives to register and vote as Dems for Hillary Clinton.The media had chosen our candidates in December- so cleverly revitalizing a dead McCain campaign. Gov. Romney had received more votes from Republicans than McCain, but lost due to voter crossover. Just as many Dems and Independents registered as Republicans simply to vote for McCain. Sen. Obama has been treated with kid gloves by the media, even when he gave his so famous speech which said everything and repudiated nothing as far as Rev Wright's racist remarks. Hillary Clinton has now inadvertantly brought to mind the assassination of RFK to remind the Democrat Party that it's not over just yet- "you never know what can happen before the convention." You have to admire her style- if she were Italian she head up a crime family. Oops! My mistake she already does- The Clintons and the Arkansas Gang. Here's some food for thought for all you out there. Ask yourselves this question: How many people do you know personally that have died violently or suspiciously? I unfortunately know one, an old classmate from elementary school. Well, I won't hold you in suspense: The Clintons' personally know 104 people who have died violently/suspiciously. You can find this on the Drudge Report if you want to find out for yourselves. Is this sound off any signals in your head??? These people are vicious and evil.
 
I know this isn't really my style but I am so discouraged and disgusted by our current political climate. Earlier in one of my blogs I suggested the need for a new political party. First the Democratic Party left me and has become a Socialist entity which I now call The Socialist "Democrat" Party because there is nothing democratic in their thinking. I think their name should tell the truth about what they truly believe. The Republicans have deserted me and they are allowed to be called the GOP but for different reasons. Instead of the "Grand Old Party" they have become the "Greedy Old Party". They had the chance to really make a difference in Washington but instead chose to line their pockets and desert their principles. The Republicans acted like losers rather than winners.
 
As a Conservative I am asking for the creation of a true Conservative movement to either retake control of the GOP or break away entirely. I will vote for John McCain but I will not campaign for him and I will not financially support the GOP any longer. If you read this and agree with me- please respond as a gesture of defiance. We are entering a point in our history which is literally a crossroads and it doesn't look like we are choosing the correct path.

Senator Obama Asks: Sen. Kennedy and Sen. Kerry Where Are You?

I really don't have to write anymore than the title this time. The silence is DEAFENING!!!!!
So typical of Socialist-Liberal-Democrat patriots. Ready to support their man right up to the first roadblock and then bail out.
 
From what I hear from the local Radio Talk Shows- these two stalwarts of democracy- decline any comment on "JFK's" heir apparent and they won't return any phone calls. I guess the pre-requisite to becoming a Democrat Candidate is the ability to throw everyone and anyone under the bus. Sen. Obama certainly did that with his grandmother, so our two senators from the "People's Commonwealth" have no problem being silent on their "Boy's" Racism problem. Afterall- I actually believe that they agree 100% with Obama. God bless their bleeding hearts. This miserable excuse for a country has done nothing to improve relations between the races over the last 40 - 50 years and of course there hasn't been a concerted effort by this nation to promote equality in the schools and workplace either. So as the old legal adage goes: "Silence gives consent". We can only surmise that the Silence of Senators Kennedi and Kerri is actually support for the Black Racist Candidate Barack Obama.

Sen. Barack Obama: Actions Speak Louder Than Words!!

 “The Speech” has been made and what have we learned? I can only speak for myself and what I have learned is that Sen. Obama has corroborated all my fears regarding his character and his false affection for this country. Actions speak louder than words as the old adage says and Sen. Obama’s actions speak volumes.

White Americans have bent over backwards at every level of society to build a class-less society based on equality and civil rights. Never in my entire life was I ever taught to hate anyone- Black, White, Asian or Hispanic. Throughout my childhood and into adult life my faith experience as a Catholic has been one of tolerance and love towards ALL people. I don’t know anyone who attends a church that preaches these vile and hateful beliefs as is preached at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, IL. If this is mainstream Black Christianity then I must be living in a bubble because the words preached by Rev. Jeremiah Wright are frightening to say the least. Is Black America really this angry and hateful towards its white brothers and sisters? If so then we are in serious trouble as a nation and 40 years of Civil Rights have been a failure. If not, and I believe this is truly the case, then we must ask ourselves why are people like Rev. Jeremiah Wright preaching these types of sermons. I really think that there is a large segment of the Black Community who NEED to hear this to build up their own self-worth, which is sad. The “rich white people” and the “not-so-rich white people” have done their share of building a nation based on the values of the Rev. Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights movement of the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s up to the present.

When will African Americans begin to change their attitude?  When will African Americans begin to change their beliefs? When will African Americans begin to forgive?  When? When? When? Or are they simply going to continue to hate “whitey” and believe this ludicrous crap like “The US government started the AIDs virus to kill Black people”!! I am sick and tired of hearing this stuff!! This anti-American sentiment is now echoed by entire Democrat party and Hollywood too! Sen. Obama is of this sentiment and his “Hope and Change” campaign is nothing but a cover for what he really believes. Below is a little check list of “words” vs actions by Sen. Barack Obama:

Sen. Obama and his FAMILY attend for 20 yrs now, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Sen. Obama in his own words is “mentored” by Rev. Jeremiah Wright- who preaches the following:
“Not God Bless America, but rather God Damn America”
“Not the USA but USKKKA”
“America is ruled by rich white people”
Rev. Jeremiah Wright espouses the belief of Black Liberation Theology which states the following:
“Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community. . . . Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.”

Barack Obama and his family still attend this church and it has been proven that he was in attendance for Rev. Wright’s “God Damn America” Sermon

Sen. Obama won’t salute the flag

Mrs. Obama states “This is the first time in my adult life that I have felt pride in my country” (Supported  and defended by Mr. Obama as a “misunderstanding”)
 
This information is readily available and I collected it in just 1/2 hour. Why is the media ignoring this? Sen. Obama's speech did nothing to persuade me to change my view. I find this man and his "associates" whether he disavows them or not to be utterly reprehensible. This man has snow-jobbed the American people with beautiful words of "Hope, Change, Unity, Togetherness, Compassion, etc...." but his actions speak otherwise. If these beliefs are even remotely held by Sen. Obama, he disqualifies himself from the Presidency just as David Duke's beliefs of White Supremacy would disqualify him. The truly sad thing about this whole affair is that if these beliefs are really held by "Black America" then our experiment of Civil Rights is a failure and Rev. Martin Luther King's dream is DEAD! But as a Catholic who believes that in God is our true Hope I refuse to believe this and will strive to change this.
 
I know one thing for sure-
A vote for Sen. Obama will NOT bring "Hope, Change, Unity, Togetherness, or Compassion" to this great nation of ours.

They're Skating in Hell Right Now....

Because the impossible has happened- I'm agreeing with Geraldine Ferraro 100%!!! I know this sounds crazy but Ms. Ferraro is absolutely right on target. Let's look at a checklist for Sen. Obama:
 
1) Has he passed any significant legislation?   NO
2) Has he had years and years of experience? NO
3) What does he stand for? Don't know- Oh, Yes- HOPE and Change!!!
4) Oh yeah! He gave a keynote speech at the 2004 Democrat Convention!
 
Not impressive is it? So what else could be the reason for his popularity? I can think of two right off the bat- He's not Hillary and he's Black. Why is it so wrong to admit it? Rudy Giuliani's Italian heritage came up many times and Mitt Romney's Mormonism was also an issue. Sen. Obama's blackness hits a chord in the American psyche- a chord of guilt maybe but it still hits deep into the American heart and most especially with bleeding heart Liberal Democrats. Democrats are dying to elect any type minority to any office in any state. This is Election-type Affirmative Action. Sen. Obama happens to be the one the Dems have handpicked since to be their herald: A successful black man with nothing but charisma. Sen. Obama is the Affirmative Action candidate- it was only a matter of time.
 
I think that the majority of Americans at this time in our history would most definitely vote for a "qualified" black candidate. Key word in this sentence "qualified". But, let's not forget now that we are still dealing solely with "Democrat" voters in these primary elections. The general election will be much different and especially when Sen. Obama has to explain his platform.
 
It is sad when serious discourse is banned from the election process. The Democrats are imploding due to the two-edged sword called "Political Correctness". Sen. Obama is BLACK and the only one's making this an issue are the new plantation owners- The Socialist Democrat Party.

Barack Obama: "Do Unto Others????

Recent remarks by Sen. Obama on homosexual marriage, abortion and his “Christian” faith have become old news, but I would like to revive the issue because of its importance in our getting to know this man, who thus far is still unknown to a majority of Americans. A frightening thought really!! First, in Obama’s own words so I don’t get accused of misquoting the man:

Homosexual Mariage:

“I don’t think it [a same-sex union] should be called marriage, but I think that it is a legal right that they should have that is recognized by the state”. If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount, which I think is, in my mind, for my faith, more central than an obscure passage in Romans.”

Abortion:

“I think that the bottom line is that in the end, I think women, in consultation with their pastors, and their doctors, and their family, are in a better position to make these decisions than some bureaucrat in Washington. That’s my view. Again, I respect people who may disagree, but I certainly don’t think it makes me less Christian. Okay.”

His Christian Faith:

“I am a Christian. I am adevoutChristian. I’ve been a member of the same church for 20 years, pray to Jesus every night, and try to go to church as much as I can when they are not working me. Used to go quite often.”

I am, of course, approaching Sen. Obama from a Conservative Catholic perspective, but that being said, I find his opinions and his actions to be very troubling to say the least. First of all, to simply say that we should refer to the Sermon on the Mount and let the dictum, (I am assuming) “Do unto others” be our basis for instituting homosexual unions goes beyond logic. What of Jesus’ words on Adultery, and Divorce? Sen. Obama’s take on Christianity is one of convenience. Just like a lawyer to twist and turn the words of someone to your own advantage. And I would like to remind Sen.Obama that it was NOT “some bureaucrat in Washington” which brought us 50 million dead babies since Roe v. Wade, but the Supreme Court. As a lawyer I thought he would have known that by now.

As for Abortion his “laisez faire” style of Christianity rears its ugly head again. In other words Jesus has told us to be absolutely tolerant of everything and everyone regardless of the consequences, even if it means killing an infant that has survived an abortion. It’s kill and kill again as far as Sen. Obama is concerned. When Sen. Obama was State Senator in Illinois he voted three times against the “Born Alive Infant Protection Act” and refused to support Anti-Partial-Birth Abortion bills. But to deny aid to a baby that has survived a labor-induced abortion goes beyond the realm of common sense. Is this the “do unto others” type of compassion I should expect in my old age if his kind of logic deems me undeserving of life? Mychal Massie, noted African-American Conservative wrote the following:

Obama’s support for murdering children transcends his support for the extermination of unborn babies. While holding elected office in Illinois, he opposed S.B. 1093 the "Born Alive Infant Protection Act" on the grounds that the measure didn't include a "life and health of the mother" provision. He then refused to support two subsequent bans that did include exceptions for the safety of the mother. He refused to support anti-partial-birth abortion bills H.B. 383 and S.B. 230.

He refused to support S.B. 1095, which created a cause of action for harm or neglect that would come to a child "born alive" after a labor-induced abortion, supporting instead the barbaric practice of letting "aborted alive" babies die a grotesquely inhuman and excruciatingly torturous death by being tossed into a pan and left to die. While in the Illinois Legislature, he voted against S.B. 1661, also part of the "Abortion Alive Protection Act," which created the "Induced Birth Infant Liability Act."

Sen.Obama is one frightening individual in this writer’s eyes and if he becomes President with a Socialist Democrat-controlled Congress America will become a horror-show, something akin to Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia. Actually Soviet Russia is probably what Sen. Obama is hoping for.

Change We Can Believe In????

This is going to be a short but sweet blog today.
 
Well, if recent words by Barack Obama to certain Canadian Journalists are true and there is no reason to think otherwise then the only change we can believe in is this: We will be changing one Lying Politician for another Lying Politician.
 
Sen. Obama evidentely allayed the fears of Canadians regarding NAFTA by telling some journalists,  and I paraphrasing now-
                        "Don't worry about anything I told those people, I didn't mean any of it".
I wonder what else he's been telling us that needs clarification. Why am I surprised at such behavior? I'm surprised because of the "cult" of Obama that has transfixed this country!! He has been telling voters that "He was Different" and that "Old-style Politics were not going to be part of his administration".
 
Well it seems that Sen. Obama is nothing but old school politics with a little jive!!!
 
No thanks Sen. Obama, you weren't getting my vote anyway but you've done something which I never thought possible: You made Hillary look politically attractive!!! Unbelievable!!!! Between you and your wife, who knows what else you'll make me do and say!!

William F. Buckley and My Dad

I am sure that there are many people remembering William F. Buckley today and I am also sure that many will be relating a story similar to mine. It is true, before Ronald Reagan and the Republican Revolution, there was William F. Buckley. As is usually the case when I was a senior in high school I thought I had the answers to all the world's problems- I was a diehard communist and athiest. Thank God for my Dad and William F. Buckley. I grew up in a very Italian and very Catholic home and my Dad was smart enough to see that my rebellion towards God and America was just teenage angst. My dad knew eventually I would come around but he also knew that he couldn't stand listening to my left-wing liberal crap for too long. My Dad invited me to watch Firing Line one Sunday night and it was the only thing he had to do to get me on the Right (pun intended) path once again. The very first Firing Line I watched was when William F. Buckley hosted Malcolm Muggeridge as guest. In one fell swoop- I was converted (pun intended again) both to Conservativism and to my Catholic Faith once more. My Dad knew what he was doing. Mr. Muggeridge (eventual Catholic convert) was a well known Communist and founder of "Punch" one of the most Left-wing magazines in England and here he was speaking with William F. Buckley about God, Faith and Conservatism. Like St.Paul struck from his horse I was changed!! I started reading National Review and couldn't wait to vote for Ronald Reagan in 1980. My Catholic Faith was renewed and it has sustained me and my family through some really tough times.
 
My Dad introduced me to William F. Buckley and G.K. Chesterton's book "The Everlasting Man" and I have not looked back. I know that right now my Dad and William F. Buckley are together watching me right this and I just want to say with all my heart-

The Heart of the Matter: There Really is a Choice

Well, I think I'm over Romney's resignation and still haven't been able to drink the McCain Kool-aid. I will vote for Sen. McCain because we at least have a chance at some semblance of Conservatism with him in office. But after wondering how to approach the upcoming general election, lo and behold the topics come to me and the topic is none other than love of country- Patriotism. Hearing Mrs.Obama's words yesterday brought everything into perspective. To refresh everyone's memory and I am paraphrasing:
 "For the first time in my adult life, I finally have pride in my country because there is hope again".
The worse thing is that there was a huge outburst of applause at her comments. When would you ever hear the wife of a presidential candidate admit she had no pride in America? I'll tell you when- When you are a Liberal-Democrat. These words reveal the heart of the Democrats and their ILK! They hate this country and they have always hated this country. It is evident in the Congressional Democrat leadership. They have deliberately stifled and hindered the war effort, putting our brave servicemen in harms way for political reasons. Believe me, Mrs. Obama really feels that way and so does her inexperienced fluff-spewing husband. I will repeat my words again and again: The Democrats and their Candidates for the Presidency are TRAITORS! They don't harbor a love for America and what it stands for- Liberty, Equality, and Opportunity. It's ironic that Sen.Obama is being compared to the one who said "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country" because his mantra is "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask how much more it can do for me". It's also sad that President Kennedy's own family fails to see what he actually stood for. It is the agenda of the LEFT which has taken over the Democrat party over their love of country. They no longer love this country, they love their Party and its Communist view of the world. That's why they so easily risk the lives of our servicemen simply to make a political grandstand.
Listen to the rhetoric of the Democrats- freedom from poverty, freedom from sickness, right to health insurance, right to be rescued from financial debt, and so on and so forth. Free, everything for free for me. Give me stuff and more stuff because it's my right to have stuff. Hope in change, hope in the future, hope, hope, hope, - give me a break. Real hope comes not in saying it over and over again it comes from a belief in ourselves, a belief in our country and the principles on which it was founded. 
 
To the Democrats the United States is the biggest problem the world faces. The United States is the oppressor and destroyer of  the lives of millions. The Democrats will restore America's reputation on the world scene by making us just another pawn of the UN- the world's largest leftist legislative body.
 
Thank you Mrs. Obama- I didn't think there was a clear choice in this election but it so happens there really is. I will proudly cast my vote for Sen.McCain, a man who put his life on the line so you could freely display your un-patriotic sentiments as your non-saluting, non-pledging husband can campaign for the Presidency of the country you so recently despised. Ditto to Hillary and her cheating, lying, and treasonous FORMER presidential husband.
